This. ALL of this, is why I couldn't wait for you to fly over and land here, so that more people can read your beautiful words, reflections and encouragement. (And by sheer coincidence, I was going to share the most beautiful new choral piece that this Emily Dickinson poems has been set to, which released this week - I'll link to you, too! And sharing now.) WELCOME, dear friend!! xxxx
Welcome to Substack!!! My newsletter that comes out tomorrow echoes this theme:
"I wonder if we can access heaven’s view more than we are accustomed to? If part of our spiritual formation is like being handed a pair of God-glasses through which to see?"
Beautiful. Brave to take this step. I wonder where Hope will continue to lead you! I’m thankful for this space to fly with you. Thank you for your beautiful worlds, Sue.
Thank you so much Kim. I tried to reply to your pledge which 😭 was just such a beautiful affirmation to me - I do t know of my response went through but want you to know how much that means to me. 🤗
Thank you my sweet and encouraging friend - this is such an encouragement to my heart. I am a beginner again with this platform with all the mixed up feelings that go along with that. I’m so glad you are here
And you are leading in faith and willing to risk learning by trial and error. I admire that. Dare Greatly! 😉
And at some point, I’d love to have a conversation about substack and what the draw is. Is it one subscription for everyone or do I pay to read each contributor there?
Substack is free for writers to use and we get to decide if it is free for all subscribers or we can have a paid section if we want. Most of what I read is free content.
Sue, I’m thrilled to see you here! Your first post is stunning. Your ability to write well shines in this post as it succinctly illustrates the way you are able to incorporate symbolism and metaphor to inspire your reader. And, you nailed the graphics to create such a pleasing aesthetic. Everything you do is marked by such a sense of beauty and sensitivity. Well done, my dear, dear friend!
Sally, somehow I ended up with 2 Substack accounts - one for posting and one for reading 🙄. I think you kindly shared my reading account 😜 but I am confused so maybe you got it right

Profound Sue. I’m stunned by your words. So articulate and succinct, born out of living in and thru the Refiner’s Fire. Write on my friend.
